Our client require a Junior Software Engineer for their West End office in Brisbane.

The Role:
We are assisting our client to find a graduate Junior Software Engineer (entry level or 1-year exp) to join their team. You will work for the Australian division of this well-established multinational company, which specialises in providing innovative solutions in communication security.

You will be responsible for:
You will ensure that all products requiring software meet internal and external specifications within required guidelines.

• Analysing, designing, coordinating, and implementing software systems with clearly defined outcomes.
• Participating within the software team in accordance with project, customer requirements
• Utilising software build tools and repositories
• Performing code reviews, with supporting documents
• Assisting in software testing (manual and automatic), ensuring strategic outcomes are met
• Ensuring quality of software development is of the highest standards

Successful applicants for the Junior Software Engineer role will be:

• Knowledgeable on software development and computer operating systems
• Competent in programming languages – Python, C+, JavaScript
• Exposure to Linux
• Experienced with coding and continuous integration/deployment tools
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Desire for learning and growth
• Passionate about coding
